Frequently Asked Questions
Does this work with my phone/carrier?
It probably does. See our instructions for how it works to get an idea of the process to connect to TinyVoicemail.
What carriers do you support?
Right now we support the four major carriers in the US: T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon. We can support other carriers if they allow for conditional call forwarding for both busy and no-answer calls.
Does this thing turn my voicemail into one of those fancy prompts?
No. But it can. Email us for more info about turning your voicemail into one of those fancy prompts.
Can I use my own voicemail greeting?
Of course. You'll just need to record it from our web app. If you have something fancy you want to keep, send us an email and we'll move it on over.
Is this a subscription?
Yes. It's $5/month to have TinyVoicemail handle your voicemail on your behalf. It's less money if you have a discount.
Can I keep my number?
You can only keep your number. You merely forward us your missed calls and we take care of everything from there.
What happens if I stop paying?
Well, you should disable call forwarding to us. We won't do anything drastic until we've confirmed that you have done so. Even after, you can export your stuff.
Can I still access that message my family member gave me on my original voicemail?
Of course. We don't hijack your voicemail at all. We simply redirect your missed calls, and act as your voicemail.
Am I able to check my voicemail the traditional way? By calling a number?
Sure can! After you're setup with TinyVoicemail you'll receive a PIN (which you can change) and you can call into your voicemail from a special number.
